AEW Vs. ECW: Fantasy Warfare

I've decided to change things up this week. Don't worry, I'm sure a Top 5 will return next week, but for now, I decided to have some fun, and book a fantasy PPV event titled "AEW Vs. ECW: Head to Head". Okay, the name isn't too impressive, but I'm a work in progress. For this blog, I'm going to list the matches, followed by who I feel would win in those matches. I tried my best to make the card as down the middle as I could. And I hope you would agree as well. That said, let's take a look at my AEW Vs. ECW: Head to Head PPV! Note, if there's a stipulation, I'll make a note of it.

Extreme Buy-In Match: Rhino Vs. Jimmy Havoc (Chairs Match)
How the bloody Hell is this one NOT on the main show? Well, if you scroll down to the rest of the card, you'll see why. These two men are just as hardcore as they are wrestlers in the ring. Which makes me believe that this would be a very fitting match. Having this match using just one weapon (Being chairs, obviously) It could be a fun, yet extreme start to the night.
Winner: Jimmy Havoc

Match 1: The Young Bucks Vs. The Impact Players
Ah, yes. A tag match pitting the hottest tag team today against one of the (In my opinon) best tag teams of the 90's. There's no doubting that The Young Bucks would get an early advantage due to their high flying mentality. But it would be the chemistry of The Impact Players that would make this match must-see. A team of Hardcore Technicians versus a team of High-Flying brothers? Sign me up.
Winners: The Young Bucks

Match 2: Britt Baker (MD) Vs. Jazz
To most, this match would be the sleeper of the whole show. However, when you have a crafty, powerful veteran like Jazz going up against a cocky, arrogant new-comer in Britt Baker, it very well could be a hard-hitting affair. I can also see Baker playing the weasly-heel and constantly escaping Jazz. However, I think Jazz's power would hand Team ECW their fist victory of the night.
Winner: Jazz

Match 3: MJF Vs. Hangman Page Vs. Jungle Boy Vs. Steve Corino Vs. Super Crazy Vs. Yoshiro Tajiri(6 Man Dance)
That's a mouthful to say, let alone type. Anyway, what would a fantasy warfare show be without some insane 6 Man Dance? Now the first question in your mind is "If it's a 6 Way, can alike team members eliminate their promotions competitors?" The answer is YES. Go (Super) Crazy with this one. It's no suprise that MJF and Corino are alot alike, as well as the styles of the other 4 competitors clashing,. It would promise to deliver on so many fronts. That said, I think Team ECW might get yet another win, due to Super Crazy and Tajiri being able to work together as cohesive unit as we seen at ECW One Night Stand 2005 and 2006.
Winner: Yoshiro Tajiri

Match 4: Jon Moxley Vs. Sabu (Extreme Rules)
This would arguably be the match of the night, and quite honestly a head-turner. There's no question that both men are top-tiered hardcore wrestlers. If you haven't seen Mox in CZW, what are you waiting for? His stuff would make some of the sickest men turn their heads. And there's no questioning what Sabu can do. I put these two together because of how similar they are in the ring. Both men can wrestle if need be. Yet, are most certainly not afraid of throwing caution to the wind,.
Winner: Jon Moxley

Match 5: Joey Janela Vs. Sandman (Extreme Rules)
It was hard figuring out a decent opponent for either men. But when you think about it, is there really anyone else for these two? Joey Janela is someone who I have grown very fond of these past few months, and I can honestly see him in line for an AEW Championship run in the near future. As for The Sandman? Come on. The dude probably started drinking while we were still in bed. The outlaw himself is no slouch when it comes to an Extreme Rules match, and Joey Janela may have a hard time ducking Sandman in this one.
Winner: Sandman

Match 6: Kenny Omega Vs. "Lionheart" Chris Jericho
This is an interesting one. Chris Jericho has competed in both AEW and ECW. He's someone who can change with the times, and constantly does. The story here would obviously be Chris as a Heel against a confused Omega. I could see Kenny trying to rally up the troops in the weeks prior, only to be viciously assaulted by one Chris Jericho. And, although some may view this as lazy booking (As we have seen it a bunch already), this may be one of the very few times a repeated match might not get stale.
Winner: Kenny Omega

Now, just to recap, including The Extreme Buy-In, here's where we sit: ECW has 3 wins to AEW's 4. Will we end in a tie? Or, will AEW walk away as the victors of the evening?

Match 7: Cody Vs. Tommy Dreamer (Cage Match)
There wasn't really any other names I could think of to close out the show. Dreamer is widely regarded as the "Heart and Soul" of ECW. And Cody is The "American Nightmare" of AEW, as well as an EVP. Both men have experience in so many similar areas. Cody and Dreamer both have promoted shows, won titles, and is the meat and potatoes to their respective promotions. Now, I love Tommy and I always will, but in an environment like a Cage Match, I think there's not telling what Cody can do.
Winner: Cody

So there you have it! An AEW Vs. ECW show! Who do you think would win these matches? Or do you have matches of your own? Let us know below or on Twitter!
