Top 5 Wrestling Themes today

Nothing can get a crowd beyond hyped more than hearing an opening guitar riff, or an awesome set of vocals. It can define wrestlers, and sometimes even help propel them into superstardom. From the themes of Ted Dibiase and Hulk Hogan all the way to The Undisputed Era and Brock Lesnar, there's something special about hearing your favorites (Or non favorites) theme song. With that said, lets take a look at 5 of the top wrestling themes today.

5. Cody
After starting AEW just last year, Cody set out to change the wrestling world. What he probably also had in mind though, was an awesome theme song. And that's what we got with this Downstait song. You know, the same group behind The Miz's theme? Yeah, well Cody had them draw up a song for him in AEW and it's downright awesome. The lyrics alone sounded like they were written just for him, and the guitar matches that AEW attitude that the company carries with them.

4. Ricochet
Ricochet is called "The One And Only," as his theme bellows. Minus the whole weird laser sound effect, it's actually a catchy melody. A hip hop style song that mixes rock and dubstep, it's not a surprise that they used such an all over the place song. It defines Ricochet and that's what you want in a song. The fact that it's likely going to be his song for the rest of his tenure with the company only makes sense.

3. Lacey Evans
Now I know I'm going to catch heat for this. But Lacey Evans is apart of something special with her gimmick. And the theme song shows that. A song that reminds us to "Mind our manners," and "Act like a lady" fits Lacey's character to a complete tee. And throw in the fact that she is the "Sassy Southern Belle" and you have a real winner of a song. She owns the gimmick and I'd like to think that the song has some value to it because of that.

2. Jon Moxley
This one is an amazing theme to me because it works on so, so many levels. Long gone are the days of the "Lunatic Fringe," and that God-awful car revving up and down more than a Yo-Yo, Moxley is here in AEW. And that's what his theme shows. An instrumental that sounds like you heard it on the PA system at a jail cell, it demonstrates what it's like to give creative freedom. And that's just what the former Dean Ambrose wanted. And it's safe to say that he played his cards correctly to get into the spot he's in today.

1. The Undisputed Era
There's no question that right now in NXT, no one is more superior than The Undisputed Era. Having all the Mens gold on the brand, they are showing their true dominance. And whenever I hear the phrase "Shock The System" being uttered out, I can help but get excited. Accompany that with Cole's signature "Boom" motion, and you have a real winner. All the guys from The Undisputed Era have worked their tails off, so Hell the least you could do is give them a theme that they deserve.
