5 Superstars who can shake up NXT

This fall will mark the beginning of the "Wednesday Night Wars," as it's being called. It's all hands on deck whether if you're "Team WWE", or "Team AEW"...Or like me, who's "Team...Hey, it's wrestling so who cares?" But without a doubt WWE is going to look for names who make the biggest impact on television once they go head to head. And today we are gonna' take a look a 5 Superstars who can shake up NXT.

5. Kevin Owens
This one seems to be more than just a safe bet. If anything it's more a guarantee. KO has been the focal point of Smackdown Live for a while now, and it's easy to see why. His feud with Shane has been a surprising highlight each and every week. As time passes, he seems to become more and more unhinged at the "Powers that be" within the company. And what would be a better way to make your presence known than to crash an NXT show, especially if they go head-to-head with AEW?

4. Becky Lynch
Let's be honest, Becky Lynch would destroy the NXT Womens Division. It doesn't matter if it's her in-ring work or promo abilities. She can tear the house down no matter where she's at. And I for one would love to see her versus someone like say, Shayna Baezler. Imagine that match? That would be a submission specialists dream match come true. And I would love to see it. So go ahead, and book that match, already WWE.

3. Ruby Riott
I'm steps away from setting up a GoFundMe to do two things. Number One: Place a "Missing" ad on milk cartons for Ruby, and number 2, to help with her surgeries. I had to Google what she's been up to, just to find out what happened to her. No update on TV from WWE and that's a crime. But if you put all of that to the side, and realize that this would be exactly the revamping her career would need. Now, in no way is this a demotion. It's not the Breezango treatment by any means, as I would consider this to either be a one-off, or maybe even a short term feud. Either way, it could be magic. Let's hope for a speedy recovery.

2. John Cena
Admittedly, I wasn't sure to include Cena on this list. But the more I got to thinking about it, how awesome would it be to see Cena in the ring alongside someone like Adam Cole? You can't tell me you wouldn't pop for a match between the two. I'm putting my creative cap on just thinking about it. Point is, Cena's not only just a part-timer, but he's a refreshing part-timer. Whenever he does come back, it's always special. And frankly, I can't hate this guy anymore. He's too awesome.

1. AJ Styles
Who would be better to shake NXT up more than the man who straight up jumped over the yellow brand and straight to the main roster? AJ Styles wasn't going to go to NXT when he signed, and we all knew that. But it's not to say that him on the show would mean nothing. Him versus Gargano is clearly a match that the fans would lose their minds over, and for obvious reasons. AJ can hold his own, and even after all these years doesn't look to be slowing down anytime soon. But if you want ratings, book this.

And that's our list! Who are some names you would love to see on NXT when it premiers on USA? Sound off below or on our Twitter page!
